QLED and The Frame TVsI have a 43” frame (2022 model) that I have mounted in vertical/portrait mode. I have been using this exclusively in art mode to display uploaded movie posters, and was working great for a few months.
Then, around November, the display would start turning itself on, randomly, and start one of the hub streams. This happens at least 3 times a day and has completely ruined my experience.
I found a help article that says removing this from the Smartthings app should help, but that hasn’t worked for me. It also mentions an upcoming firmware should resolve this issue, but how long should that take? It’s been 6 months!
How can we get some urgency put towards resolving this?

QLED and The Frame TVsFor those following this issue, I noticed there was a new firmware update available today and am currently testing it.
I will report back after 24 hours if this has resolved the issue.
One good thing I noticed with this update is the custom artwork upload seems to be much more stable, and I am now able to remove the “matted border” completely while the display is in portrait/vertical mode, which was an issue on prior firmware. Note that this removal option seems to only apply to photos uploaded after the newest update.

QLED and The Frame TVsAfter ticking the "I agree" box under
General & Privacy -> Terms & Privacy -> User Positioning Privacy Notice
I have not seen the issue re-occur.
So early indications are that this setting solves the issue.
if you are still seeing this issue then please can you confirm whether or not you have this box ticked?

QLED and The Frame TVsI've had this issue as well (2022 Frame 55"), and I just checked the User Positioning Privacy Notice setting you indicated. Mine was already selected as "I agree" - which wouldn't have changed since installation last year. 😞

QLED and The Frame TVsMine was already checked. So i unchecked it. Shut down the TV, turn it on and checked it again. Seems like a weird fix but what else can we do? Samsung is no help at all.

QLED and The Frame TVsThe issue hasn't re-occurred since I ticked "I agree".
I will untick the box again to see if the issue comes back.
In the meantime, the only other thing I can suggest is to reverse the setting you already have when you see the issue. So if you already have "I agree" selected when you see the issue then deselect it and if it is already deselected when you see the issue then select "I agree".

QLED and The Frame TVsAfter updating the firmware to the newest version, the issue seems to have been resolved.
The display has been functioning correctly for 48 hours at this point.
I didn’t do any of the “agree” suggestions mentioned above.
I suggest everyone afflicted by this issue update their firmware to version 1520 to resolve the issue.

QLED and The Frame TVsIf turning off Night mode within the Art Mode settings, completing a power cycle (unplugging the TV for a few minutes), and resetting the TV has not corrected the issue, it is suggested to contact 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864) and asking for TV Remote Management. They will be able to access your TV and figure out what exactly is going on to cause this to happen.
