I uninstalled my secure folder and uninstalled at&t call protect before that. So either could have worked but I would to both.

Go to the secure folder icon, hold it down and press uninstall.

It's one of those Samsung pre-installed apps that can't be uninstalled.

This is brilliant. Uninstalling secure folder fixed the issue for me too.

Follow these instructions and reset your phone. Presto, you can make and answer phone calls again.

Thank you ldw4!

Yep, issues everywhere only since I upgraded to One UI 6.0 on Vodafone network, Samsung S22 Ultra, same issues as everyone here. I reset the cache, Removed and re-added SIM (put SIM into SIM2 instead of SIM1), I removed and re-added phone apps, I ensured all apps are up to date from the Google Play Store, and I still have the same issues: Apps Crashing, Unable to select contacts and make phone calls, this is a disaster release (It's like it wasn't fully tested, its like a BETA release), very disappointing indeed.  It needs to be fixed ASAP (It's even worse than the Apple OS mess 2 years ago).

This worked for me! I have a physical SIM card and converted it to an eSIM.

Go to settings > connections > SIM manager > click on SIM card > convert to eSIM.

Immediately tried a phone call and it worked perfectly! Hope this helps!
