Hello,

Since Google stuttered Google 1 VPN, I'm looking at Samsung Secure Wi-Fi, but because they're not actually calling it VPN I don't know how far I can go with it.

I only use VPN when making money transactions, of course, and with the Google VPN I felt secure. So I want to know with reasonable certainty that Samsung's "Secure Wi-Fi" application will be sufficient for my concerns, or do I 100% have to go a labeled VPN?

@JoJo4360 Yes, Samsung's Secure Wifi is a VPN.

Okay now one other question. I noticed that the free is far too small with only a little over a gig and then it's gone. So, it's pretty cheap for the unlimited at $2 a month vs, say DuckDuckGo at $100 a year. Would you say the Samsung VPN is just as good as the DuckDuckGo or MS defender which I didn't really look into as much yet? Do you have a pref?

I don't use either so I couldn't help you there. When I need a VPN I use NordVPN.
