You can download an app. Then as soon as you put your info in..you should be able to locate it.

Hi Miranda, the trick will be using a PC, or your phone, to find your tablet. Something like Smartthings or Find might locate it to an address - which you think is there at your home. That would at least confirm that it hasn't been taken elsewhere. I'm not sure if you can install a locator app to the tablet from Google Play Store that will cause the tablet to emit a high volume sound so you can find it. If you can, the thief has some explaining to do. Good luck!

@CLEARLYCONFIDENT Unfortunately the tools you need to find your tablet would need have been enabled before the tablet was lost. If you didn't enable the tools mentioned by the other posts before your tablet disappeared, you would only be able to reply on the police locating the device.
