Hi all,

I bought a dryer at Costco and Samsung is declining to accept a 2 year warranty on a gas dryer. I've spoken with Costco team and they say the product is covered with 2 year warranty but Samsung is declining and saying it's 1-year. How do I escalate this issue to get the right set of people involved?

Do I do a credit card chargeback to get attention?

Costco is the one providing the second year of warranty, not Samsung. Samsung is correct that they only have a 1 year warranty. The second year warranty is a Costco member benefit. You need to contact Costco for repair.

I would review the paperwork. It sounds like you did not buy Samsung Care+ (not sure if they offer it in a dryer) but instead bought an extended warranty serviced by Costco.
