Hello, I turn on the laptop after a Samsung app update or install and a couple of apps updates. It showed the Samsung logo message as usual and then it turned off or went black screen. Now, the operating status LED is always on red (plugged or unplugged) and the laptop won't turn on. Please help!!

Disconnect from charge
Open the back
Disconnect internal battery
Hold power button for 30 seconds
Connect and test

Attach a picture from the bottom of your unit here.
Make sure to cover the serial number for security.

The screws are under the rubber feet.
Do you have the tablet version or the laptop version?

the 2-in-1 version. but how can I take off the rubber feet without damaging and being able to put them back again? Sorry for the ignorance here.

Also, I understand that taking out the battery myself would void the warranty, is that right?

Yes
That would void the warranty.
In that case, send it for repair.
Also, the 2 in 1 is like a tablet. So it opens from the screen. Or at the back of the screen not the keyboard.

Thanks for reaching out to us for this. Give this link a shot for me: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01110727/

If this or the steps provided by @TheGalaxy do not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
