Music on Galaxy Buds Live becomes choppy while my phone is in my pocket

I just bought the buds live and I am annoyed that when I put my phone in my pocket that the connection freaks out and the music becomes choppy. I have to hold the phone in my hand the whole time. Anyone else with this issue ?

Hello,

Have you made sure the software on both of the buds is currently up to date? Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the buds to your phone? You can also try restarting/resetting the buds to see if that helps any. Follow this link here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078085/

Which phone are you using it with? No issues when I use my Buds live with iPhone 12 Pro or S21 in my pocket.

I'm using my Samsung Note 10+ 5G. I didn't have any issues with my old Buds+

Yes I did. I ended up returning them and getting the Buds Pro. I had two different pairs of lives and they both worked horribly.

Same with me. I was having such poor connection issues I sent them in for warranty work. They "fixed" them and sent them back to me. For the first few days they worked great. Then they want back to dropping a connection in one ear, and generally cutting out off I turned my head. Now they even cutout while I'm in my house, less than a foot away from my phone (Note 10+).

I guess these are just not big enough to have a decent Bluetooth antenna in them.

Unfortunately for me, these were a gift so I can't return them.

I've since purchased the Buds+ which are less comfortable and don't sound as good as the Buds Live, but at least they stay connected; even outside and when my phone is in my pocket.

Same with me exactly! I sadly got them as gift and can't return them. Samsung replaced them twice and its still the same. Now their service is so insolent to insist that they work fine! My suspicion is that they don't work well with devices not equipped with BT 5.0. This information should be displayed on the box anyway.

 

Very bad buds and terrible service from samsung!
