My s8 overheated while on a zoom call. I had to take it out of case so it could cool down. It cooled down after half hour. Why did this happen?

Too many apps running in the background and unstable updates being prevented to install. Also enabling digital wellbeing if provided on the s8 series

I understand how concerning this is. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. I would also try the troubleshooting mentioned by @RayDad
