Phone still rings after answering

So I have noticed the last week or so . When I answer my phone or even make a call when the other person answers , you can still hear the phone ringing in the background. 
 
As you can tell this is horid , and it seems the other party can hear it ringing after answering . 
 
I am using stock samsung phone caller app. Have cleared data and cache , phone is fully up to date. I am at a loss . I even hit clear network settings . 
 
My mobile network is set correctly and apn info

Steps for Submitting an error report:

1. Open the Menu

2. Press & Hold Samsung Members Icon, Then Tap Error Reports

3. Select the Category of Your Report

4. Make Sure That "Send System Log Data" is Selected to Help Resolve Your Questions Quickly and Describe Your Problem in Details (Make sure to include the hashtag #SCommunity)

5. Change the Frequency, and send.

Why is this flagged as solved. That's very misleading. Collecting logs for debugging is a troubleshooting step. Not a solution. This issue is not "Solved". This is a fake solution.

We use Google Fi also and had to stop using  our Samsung phone that we are still paying for due to this. This is very basic functionality that makes the phone difficult to use when broken.

Another weird symptom is that when someone calls. The phone gets confused about who is calling. Sometimes we get notifications that someone else tried to call when they didn't. 

Is Samsung actually looking into this or is this just a random suggestion from a third party individual suggesting to send logs? Why wouldn't Samsung respond saying they are looking into it. 

All Samsung or Google wanted to do was replace our new phone with a refurb for an obvious software issue.

This is an ongoing issue with my flip4.  Really irritating and would like to see a resolution.  Has anyone been able to see a fix to this?

I am having similar issue. In addition, even after I hang up the phone does not disconnect. I am also on Google Fi.
