Does anyone know why my S22 Ultra keep restarting by itself? And how can I fix this?

Hello, We understand how frustrating it is for the phone to randomly restart itself. 

I would try wiping the cache partition on your device and see if that helps any.

- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
- An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.

If the symptoms still persist, a factory reset would be recommended at this point, before doing this step make sure your device is fully backed up, so you won't lose any important data. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Hey, friends! Not sure how many people with S23s and S22s still get the 'restart' issue on One UI 5.1, but I've narrowed the issue down to a memory leak. I noticed right as my phone locks up and freezes, my RAM / memory was nearly 100% used up.. which is impossible with the apps I normally use. All I did was open system settings and my phone crashed. Hopefully we see a fix soon.

Send Samsung bug reports right after this happens!

I happened to barely head over to device care to see my memory reading nearly max of the 12GB. Which is absurd when I had no apps open at all, and nothing was shown to be running

What apps do you normally use? Often I check apps when the last time they were updated. If an app hasn't been updated after 2 major updates I always look for alternatives and remove them. Apps like these can and do often introduce bugs to new devices.

My RAM never gets that high and it still restarts. Most of my restarts also happen overnight when the phones not even in use. Auto optimization off.
