Update 6.1 made touchscreen unusable without S Pen

After the update my touch screen will not work unless I use the Spen. Samsung made a comment blaming it on Google?? But I've heard from other people it's been an issue for a couple of years so I'm curious on when they plan to fix it because this is ridiculous, I have some apps where I can only log in with my fingerprint.

Yeah I'm using an a15 currently just bad when you're paying whatever for s23 ultra and they've done that 😂 finally going over to the dark side and moving to iPhone I think after 20 years

I had my screen replaced but was told it was not aftermarket and paid higher price... how can I find out if it is samsung or aftermarket?

I did the *#2663# but don't know what it would say to tell me if it had be one vs the other

Im not sure but if you're having the same issue you've probably been lied to about it being oem

I have seen on a few posts mate people have the same issue with thinking they had a genuine screen if the fix samsung have suggested with clearing the Google date don't fix your phone I'm afraid you have an aftermarket screen.
