Hello, We understand how frustrating it is when the phone is overheating.

Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

Next, check to see if a third-party application may be responsible for this behavior. You can check with Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If the device does not overheat in Safe mode, uninstall third-party applications until normal device operation is restored.

Lastly, you can try a factory reset. Back up prior to doing this (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00060517/) as your device will be getting a fresh start, then perform a factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For assistance outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
