So, since I got the s24 ultra from the s23 ultra my signal strength has been much worse. Can a software update fix this? I've never had this issue with my last 4 samsungs so this is new to me. Might have to send it back if there is no hope...

I did not notice any strange powerdrain on my side, but I have the phone just 3 days so maybe something will come up... but the signal issue was from the beginning... so since SAMSUNG does not wanna adress the issues we will just have to wait I guess ://// (Or return the phone, but I personally will try to wait...)

PS: Try to lower your resolution, refreshrate and dont use 5G ... these 3 will drain the battery kinda fast.

Thanks for this comment but it does not help me at all. Maybe you could work as a support specialist... since you are so helpful.  šŸ™‚

I will not respond to your messages anymore so please keep your "advice" to yourself.

Thanks Dafca.

I don't have this issue with my S24, but do have the drab display issue. But I had this same connectivity problem with my S22 when I got 2 years ago. It was awful. With 5g and lte. I should have sent it back. I hoped for an update to fix it for 2 months. No luck. I put it away and went back to my S20 plus. After a year I decided to try the S22 again. The connectivity issues were fixed. So at some point Samsung fixed the issue between the 3rd month and the 12th month after release. So you have to decide if you want to wait. It could take some time. Or just send it back. I should have learned from that episode not to be a beta tester for Samsung. All of us who fall for these new releases are just beta testers.

So you think I should return it and get a new piece? I am kinda indecisive person you know. šŸ˜„

The thing is my older phone is kinda broken...so I don't have any alternative if I just send this one back.

But thanks anyway your response is the most useful so far.

Sounds like a carrier issue šŸ¤”

Well if it would be an issue with my carrier, then how come with my older phones I never had any issues??? Not even my sister and mother have any issues and they have the same carrier(Yeah they have different phones).

I'm not having any problems with signal quality on my 24+, could just be your carrier? šŸ¤·šŸ¼

I've had a pretty good experience with the 24+ so far actually and I've had it for a week now

In my case it wasn't a carrier issue. My S20+ worked fine on my carrier. My husband's Motorola worked fine on our carrier. It was the phone. Didn't work at home, in stores, many other locations. Calling Samsung was no help. Unless you've had this issue, it's hard to believe. And there wasn't much talk about it in the forums. Maybe it was a band issue. And then they added some band to fix the issue, idk. But eventually it did get fixed.

So it was fixed via some update patch?

Thanks for your answer. šŸ™‚
