The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😔

  • Check Samsung Cloud for any automatic backups.

  • Try unpairing and repairing the watch to re-establish the connection.

  • Contact Samsung Support for a more advanced solution.

  • Consider looking into alternatives if Samsung's system is no longer working for you.

Watch somehow on its own fid a hard reset and power down. Everything lost on watch.
As to backups, auto backup had not worked in any way shape or form for 4 months or so, so there are literally no backups to restore from. This is why Samsung **bleep** me off by removing manual backup, if I had that I could have a backup to restore. So am looking at selling both watches and getting a nice NORMAL digital watch.

How is this issue not resolved yet? My watch just disconnected again from my S23 Ultra, and then performed a software update, but it still wants me to reset it. This issue has been brought up for several months, and a "solution" has been identified, yet, it's been 3 weeks since the underlying issue was identified, and no patch has been made yet. How is this acceptable?

I'm here for the same reason. šŸ˜£ In addition to that, I have an unremovable notification about daylight savings time as well.

The moderator said it's a bluetooth connectivity issue, but that would make sense if the problem was the watch was merely not staying connected. That doesn't explain why the watch is forcing me to do a disconnect, reset, and re-pair.

Nevertheless, I hope it is released soon and it works. I'm about to reset my phone for the second time since Christmas now.

Every single time I put my watch on the charger or it disconnects from my phone it makes me reset my phone and reset my watch back to factory default before it will let either one connect to each other fix this Samsung I'm about tired of your piece of **bleep** equipment

It sounds weird that you have to reset either devices, but I have the same watch that I forgot at home when I returned to my duty station and it reconnected just fine after two weeks and 720 miles apart. I am assuming the apps are up to date.

I am hoping anyone can help you.

You are not the only one, it seems it is the LTE version with an active SIM.
Both of my watches are LTE not activated.
I am not having that issue.
It's unconscionable Samsung has not issued a fix for this problem.

I think maybe you should report it in the support section of the Members app in feedback.

They might have a solution

Yep. Had to do with LTE. As soon as I ended my plan and turned it off it stopped happening.

This same issue keeps happening to my Galaxy Ultra, which is LTE. I have even reset the watch in the recovery/bootloader and cleared the cache before re-pairing the device to my S25 Ultra, and it still happens.
