Yup...  

Another BD-J5100 here.  Well, 2 to be more accurate.

 

1 died this evening.  Started doing the constant reboot.  Odd...

Went 20 feet to the bedroom, grabbed that one and moved it to the living room.

 

Seemed to work fine.  Watched 1 episode on netflix, time to go to bed (read watch netflix in bed for about an hour or so while i slowly doze) so i turn it off and move it back.  

Problem starts on 2nd unit...

 

I'll be waiting, samsung...

Add me to the list. Was listening to a CD,,ejected the CD and it just keeps rebooting, can't reset. Unplugged it for 10 minutes, plugged back in still rebooting constantly.

I have a unit down, too. If the other one goes, I won't have to worry about Samsung equipment any more. 

 

Would live to keep using this, but understand if I need to go with another manufacturer

Spoke to Samsung. Online support, chat and phone.

They can not support and want to be paid for support/repair for a problem that is clearly happening to many people. Unable to get to menu for firmware update because player is cycling on and off. This is poor customer support. I own many Samsung products but will purchase from them no longer.
