Home TheaterI'm having the exact same issue eveyone else is having. It started Yesterday at about 5pm CST. I have a BD-JM57. I don't know how they're going to roll back an update if the damned player can't stay on for more than 5 seconds.

Home TheaterI'm going to add myself to this list as well. My BD-J5700 started the "infinite reboot bug" just after midnight last night. I turned it off after finishing watching a movie 11 pm and at 12:30 am I turned it back on to watch something else and it started the cycle. I had to unplug it. Hopefully Samsung finds a fix soon.

Home TheaterI have 3 BD-J5100s, one started the reboot cycle last night and another this morning. The third is unplugged and hopefully not already effected.
So do we think this is bad firmware pushed by Samsung or a bad actor?

Home TheaterI submitted this forum to Yahoo news so they can (hopefully) put it on the main Yahoo website.

Home TheaterI'm in the UK and my Samsung bdj5500 did the same thing on Wednesday evening (17th June).
Infinite power cycle, shows the Samsung logo then a flash of the menu and then blackness and it does it all over again ad infinitum.
It's 2 years old and has just gone out of warranty!
