Home TheaterSamsung support checked my HW-Q990D and have ordered the main PCB to replace. Is there anyone on this forum to whom Samsung suggested changing the motherboard and it worked?

Home TheaterI've just spoken to Samsung support. They specifically told me that their directive is for the soundbar to NOT be taken to a service centre at this point as they are working on trying to fix it, and they'll contact me in 1-2 days.
I get they probably don't want hundreds/thousands of soundbars flooding their service centres as that's costly, but I am guessing that it's possible for there to be a solution (fingers crossed) involving the USB service port... we shall see!

Home TheaterToday, March 15th, My Q990 Sound Bar crashed. I just bought it February 2nd, and paid over $1500.00 for it.
Its only showing the following messages:
ON
HDMI- E-Arc
and Bye
Thatās it. Nothing else works either by using the remote or using the buttons on the Sound Bar.
i called customer service several times, they were worthless, completely worthless. The only solution they had was to tell me they would open a ticket, so they could send me a usps label so I can send my Soundbar back to Samsung.
I didnāt pay the kind of money I paid on a Soundbar just to send it back to the company after only one month of use. FK that! I also bought a big screen Samsung tv, and Iām going to send both of these Items back to Target and Amazon and get my money back.
Thank goodness I found this link, thereās thousands of customers in the same situation Iām in.
Iāve never purchased electronic equipment from Samsung, they came highly recommended, wow, itās been a nightmare and a pain in the Buttocks experience with them. Just a horrible experience with Samsung!

I could see this turning into a class action lawsuit fast.

Home TheaterI'm from Argentina and my Q990D is also affected by this. TV earc stuck and does nothing else after this **bleep**g update. Samsung Argentina support is the worst in the world so I don't know how to deal with this anymore, they won't take it nor repair it, they don't even understand english and don't get the issue from the different forums, reddit and post from users. I'm never buying a Samsung product again, this is utter bs. Samsung Argentina is a scam, and because of this firmware it feels like they just stole my money.
