Home TheaterSince the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.
Seems like quite a few people with the issue

Home TheaterI don't think the soundbar updates if it's the same firmware version (for those trying USB method). Samsung would have to issue a new firmware version for us to see if it works or not

Home Theaterrighty as thereās no official response by Samsung on this matter. If I do not receive my escalated call, regarding my right to a replacement under the U.K. Consumer Rights Act 2015. I will be going to the U.K. National Papers and also exercising my right to raise a card dispute to my card issuer to ensure Iāll get my money back. Should this poxy company unable to sort b their crappy mess out.
This means Fākd Samsung, return āBrickedā Soundbar to retailer.

Home TheaterYou are absolutely right. The retailer under the 2015 Act is fully responsible for repairing or replacing the product not the manufacturer. They should sort out the problem for you in good time and then fight it out with Samsung for the mess that they have caused.

Home TheaterThis is absolute **bleep**. Is firmware really not tested before sending out and bricking tens of thousands of units?
