Refrigerator won't reset filter indicator

Hi!  My refrigerator, model RS22T5201SR/AA, will not reset the filter indicator light.   Specifically, the button that controls the ice maker / filter appears to be non-functional.   

What I have done:

• made sure the controls are 'unlocked' using the lock/wifi button.   (This button works)
• I can control the ice-maker through the app, so that function works; however the button doesn't work to control the icemaker or filter indicator.   
• I have cycled power to the refrigerator.  (More than once)   

Is there anything else to try?

@RPKB According to the manual you would need to "press and hold Filter Reset for 3 seconds." Have you already tried that?

Yes, I have held the button for 3 seconds, multiple times.
