LED and OLED TVsAfter just over 2 years of use, my S95B has developed burn in. It is no longer in warranty (please don’t rub it in, I’m very annoyed with myself) and I am wondering if anyone else has had this repaired out warranty. If so, how much did it cost? No one directly at Samsung is giving me even an estimate.
It is very visible when the screen is white. It makes a big light blue patch in the middle of the screen. It appeared very suddenly a few days ago.
I was careful and followed all of the precautions I needed to, and yet this happens just a few years into owning it. I know people who completely abuse OLEDs without issue, and I always assumed mine would last longer. I’m so disappointed and I really hope this can be repaired for a reasonable amount.
