I am unable to turn off subtitles using the on screen options. The tv is linked to smart things alexa and others I don't recall right now. Really annoying, can anyone help please?

Try unplugging your TV from the outlet for at least over one minute, then plug it back in. Unplugging the tv is effective in fixing bugs and issues.

Please try opening the settings on your TV and then select General and Privacy. You should see the accessibility menu, check the audio subtitles feature, and the caption menu. This should fix the problem

It may also be called Subtitles, depending on where you bought your TV or monitor from.
