We have been having issues on our tv with the volume. When trying to move up or down its moves once and goes right back to what it was at. We have tried on the samsung, firestick and DirecTV remote with all having same issue. We have to reset tv numerous times for it to work. This happens daily and is very frustrating.

I have the same problem. A few days ago, I was able to resolve it by disabling "AUTORUN SMART HUB". But today, the problem is back. The method provided by @userYzmTcqrrMp does not work any more.

My TV is

  Model Code: UN55MU630DFXZA

  Version No: AA02

  S/N: 06LU3CYJ800305R

This is something that would require service.  Could you send me a private message?  http://bit.ly/2ihPL97

I have tried all that YzmTcqrrMp stated also I have disabled the autorun smart features without success.  I have to totally unplug the tv and plug back in every single time, and this is a numerous amount of time a day.  It is getting very aggrevating.  I absolutely love Samsung TV's, but I see this is something a lot of people have an issue with, with not fix available.

How did you turn off auto run on smart hub? I don't have an option to disable mine. What did you click to get it off the green dot to gray??

I had the same situation and stumbled upon an option to reset the smart hub and it worked for me.

Reset Smart Hub
  1. Press the Home button on your remote control.
  2. Using the directional pad on you remote, navigate to and select Settings.
  3. Navigate to and select Support.
  4. Select Device Care.
  5. Select Self Diagnosis.
  6. Navigate to and select Reset Smart Hub.
  7. Enter the PIN for your TV.
  8. Your Smart Hub has now been reset
