LED and OLED TVsGreetings,
I have a Samsung QN90AA 50 Tv and YouTube TV. Up until last night it had worked for some years.
Now there is no video or sound. The guide shows up and all the settings tabs and so on. There is even the option to resume a previously viewed show and I can click on that.
No video at all. It is stuck on a black screen with the little circle spinning.
If I click on the resume show windows, there is a commercial for some 3 minutes. The commercial video shows. No problem. there little timer is there to show the 3 minutes going by. Then upon completion, the screen goes black with the spinning circle.
I have done the following: power recycle, reinstall, clear cache, delete Smart Hub and reset to factory specs. No change.
In looking at the nerd information there is NO "Network Activity" The connection speed shows as well as the buffer health.
Also, YouTube TV works fine on my Samsung S21, desktop, laptop, tablet and Roku device. No problem.
The Samsung TV is connected via hardware to the router. There is WiFi also. Tried both connections. Just in case there was a hard wire issue. Zero luck there.
Up until now, there was not any issue. Download speed is about 120 Mps and upload is about 60 Mps.

LED and OLED TVsThis is really becoming a dead end process with YouTube TV.
Here is the response to my last request.
Hi there,
Thank you for contacting YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket Support, this is Christopher.
I'm sorry to learn about the issue you're still having with your Samsung TV and YouTube TV. I have reviewed your past interactions with YouTube TV and the case is still being handled by our specialized team. I'll have this followed up with them so we can get things moving.
All the best,
I think this last response is the equivalent to telling me to be quiet. I am starting to become cynical. Sadly.

LED and OLED TVsI really think that this is a Samsung problem. I was having the same problem back in May and went around and around with YouTube TV with no resolution.
I really think that this is a Samsung problem. My TV is in my motorhome.

I was having the same problem back in May and went around and around with YouTube TV with no resolution.
I finally went out and bought the exact same QN90 Has been working fine.
and has been working fine.
I finally took the old QN 90 now that we are home months later, plugged it in tried to get it to work, same problem. All my other Apps work fine.

LED and OLED TVsI am inclined to agree with you. All the tickets I have submitted lead me back to YouTube TV to fix. I think the Tizen OS has some data transferring issues based on the "Nerd" window in YTTV.
If you look at one of my first phots, the network activity is blocked. Even though the rest of the settings look good.
Also, when I have a live show "on", there is not any streaming but if I rewind back a minute and a half, the thumbnail views of the timeline pop up. The live streaming is being blocked.

LED and OLED TVsEach time I contact Samsung, it is a dead end. They refer back to YTTV.
When I contact YTTV, the response is "we are actively working on it".
I offered to assist with the higher-level team at YTTV and trouble shoot from my end as well.
The answer was "no".
I have submitted countless feedback data.... nothing.
My Roku works fine, but when I turn off the TV, the channel keeps streaming for a few more hours. this uses us data. I have to remember to change it to home, prior to turning off the TV.
As for Disney, I had that problem as well but with resetting to factory settings the Samsung TV Disney App was back to working.

LED and OLED TVsI had YouTube TV engineers look into my logs and they said they couldn't find an issue and it looked like it was Samsungs end. I elevated a ticket with Samsung but I'm sure I'll never hear back. Pretty sure these apps are just bricked on the TV and we are SOL.

LED and OLED TVsI also checked to see if I could downgrade the Samsung TV firmware update. Nope.
I knew there was likely zero chance, but I checked anyway.
I guess the TV is more of a Smart monitor rather than a Smart TV.
The interesting part is that I tried to stream to the Samsung TV with my Samsung phone.
I can watch YTTV from my phone. No problem. I then connected to the TV with my phone in order to stream the App. NO go. The playing of live video was blocked. As soon as I disconnected from the TV, the live video was back. The live video would not play on my phone when connected to the Samsung TV.
