Blue circle appears when touching screen. How do I get rid of it

If none of these options work, they did not work for me, try this.

- Settings - General management - Reset - Reset accessibility settings - Reset blue button.  I did not have the reset blue button, but it still worked.

Check for updates on your phone. Also, I have learned that many people do not turn their phones off at least once per day. Try that, turning you phone off for at least 10-20 minutes. Just like we need sleep, our phones need to reboot

Where the heck did the symbols above My name come from. It's never done that. Guess it isn't doing it now.

@wèñďý It sounds like the Show taps option is enabled in Developer options. You can turn it off in settings -> Developer options -> Show taps

Show taps was already off on my phone. still have the haunting blue circle
