My remote exit button only goes to the ion channel

Just recently, every time I press the "exit" button on my tv remote, it goes to the ion channel in the Samsung Plus.  I have put new batteries in the remote and unplugged the tv to try and reset it but nothing works. It's frustrating.

Ok, so....its not the remote, its the TV. I have two of the same TVs, one is a year older. I went to the older TV and this problem doesn't happen on it. I tried the older remote on my newer tv and it did the same thing, hit Exit, goes to ion channel AND, i realize that if I hit the enter button to go to a different channel, it also goes right to the ion channel. Guess I need to call Samsung and see what might have happened.

If you want to go back to what you were watching, you need to press the Return button, not the Exit button. Try it and let me know.

No, that doesn't work, nothing does. I'm just going to deal with it, but it's so bizarre how it has worked normally for years and now all of a sudden it's acting so weird

I’m having a similar problem for several day now when I hit the previous channel or return button. Mine seems to go to a Samsung tv plus channel that I have recently watched but not to my antenna channels selected from the guide.

That is exactly what happens to me and is still happening. I think I'll call Samsung tomorrow and see if they have an answer.

I finally contacted Samsung and it was an easy fix. In the menu under the General tab there is a "smart features" in there was Autorun Samsung Tv Plus, I unclicked it and that fixed my problem.
