TV: Q60C
Cable Box: Xfinity XG1v4-A Model; AX014ANM

The first day I got the TV and connected the cable box to it, the TV recognized that it was Xfinity and showed it, but then it changed to HDMI 2 and when I tried unplugging and plugging it back it, it doesn't recognize it and when I do the universal remote setup and put in the model it still can't recognize it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Essentially, I had to unplug and plug it back into each different HDMI until it got recognized.

Hi @Mocha0704!  Along with the prior information shared by the community, I would suggest two other things from experience as well.  First would be that if it happens again, call your service provider and have them ping your box.

Another thing to consider, are you using the same HDMI cable from the television that you have previously?  You may need a higher speed HDMI cable.

If you end up having trouble with the television again, try these additional steps and don't hesitate to reach out to us again if you need assistance.  We will be happy to help!
