I might try to do that. Everything works just when I get a call it says the app failed but I can talk just can't see who it is and I have to go through **bleep** to hangup

A bad sim card can cause such an issue.

I'm having the same issue after the update of One UI this morning. My Sim card has been working just fine before this update. Seems like several people are having the same problem so I doubt everyone all the sudden having bad Sim cards... Mine showing "CallBGprovider keeps stopping", and a black screen so I can't even end the call.

I couldn't even call or text last night. It would end the call immediately on me.
I had to use the WiFi to access my internet to do anything.
The new sim card fixed the call issue too.

Usually best practice after an update is to perform a factory data reset. Has anyone tried that to see if it fixed this? Mine updated, but I haven't had any issues. 😞

Factory reseting was my next choice until I found out about Google Phone. I didn't want to go through having to restore all my data 😂

This is most likely a mistake on Samsung's end, as a few other S22 users had the same issue. This is because clearing the data from the app and the cache partition did not work for most.
