I keep finding a good amount of large residue in the pump filter.
Where does this come from and how to fix the issue?
PS: I've read the thread "Why is there dirt in the bottom in my machine?" and the solution offered there does not seem to apply to my problem.

As a side note, after the spin cycle the clothing is still very wet because the water does not evacuate well.

Washers and DryersWith this being a front load washer, have you drained the emergency drain hose as well as cleaned out the debris filter? Have you checked the drain hose in the back to make sure that it's not too far down the standpipe?

Washers and DryersWe had cleaned out the debris filter; that's how we found all the debris.
We also checked the drain hose and everything seems fine.
In any case, where would those pepples and debris have come from??
We know it could not have come from any clothing we would have put in the machine.

Washers and DryersIt's possible that the drain hose (the one located in the back) is too far down and is siphoning debris into the washer.
If the plumber decides that the drain hose is properly installed then service is required.

Washers and DryersThank you for the diagram, it's very helpful as we do have an airtight connection. We will have a plumber in to make sure the drain hose is properly installed.
Also, we just ran a rinse/spin cycle after running a "Pure-Cycle". It seems that the drum does not spin even though we hear a "spin sound" coming from the washer. We don't see the drum turning and the clothing is very wet. Does that make sense?

Washers and DryersApparentely, we need to change 2 important parts that are so expensive that it makes more sense for us to buy a new washer.
Planned obsolescence is a real thing...
