Just bought Flip 5 and now there is Flip 6

I  recently bought the galaxy flip 5 in June. Now, they have a flip 6 coming out. Maybe already out as well as the iPhone 16. The iPhone 15 is barely 6 months out? What gives. Is it all due to AI?

Both Apple and Samsung release phones every year. The iPhones come out every September, the foldables from Samsung come out every July (the Flip 6 has being out a few months already), the S series in February (could be January next year). For Samsung, the Flip 5 and 6 (including their Fold siblings) support AI. Apple's 15 Pros will support some Apple Intelligence (AI) as well as all 16 series supporting AI.

You could just look up when the phones came out and realized both are around 12 months old, not 6. The 15 came out Sept 2023, the flip 5 August 2023.

The iPhone 15 is about a year old that's comes out every year on iPhone usually the phones come out every year so if you just bought it in June and the 6th is already out
