Ambient/ANC reduces buds 3 sound quality

Just got the buds 3 pro and noticed when switching to ambient mode and ANC the sound quality becomes hissier and overall worse than when the mode is off. Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?

Ambient mode is so you can hear the ambient noise around you; i.e. the background noise.

Yes but when you turn on noise cancelling or ambience the audio sound quality worsens.
