Even if there is a fix, how does this not permanently damage the Samsung brand for all of us that are impacted by this?   I never bought a Samsung phone or appliance but have been loyal to their TVs and dvd/blu ray players.  After this, I would not feel comfortable purchasing any Samsung product.   I'm really suprised this hasn't hit the major news outlets if nothing more than just a mention that this is occuring.   Also, it would be nice to know if this impacted 100,000, 1,000,000 or 5,000,000 customers.

How about a little news on what your plan is to solve this problem?

I can't imagine it is solvable and I want to WATCH MOVIES that is why I BOUGHT THE PLAYER IN THE FIRST PLACE. 

GET IT SOLVED. YOU'VE HAD SEVERAL DAYS. OTHERWISE REPALCE THE PLAYER WITH WORKING ONES.
