Kitchen and Family HubThe Water Dispenser on my Samsung 4-Door Flex Refrigerator (Model: RF28K9070SR/AA-00) continually stops dispensing water. I bought this refrigerator brand new in 2016 and have not had any issues with the water dispenser until about a year ago. The dispenser will work fine until periodically while filling a glass with water the refrigerator will make a sound like a valve shut off and the water will slow to a drip. Releasing the water dispenser switch and then reactivating it does not correct the issue. The only way I have found to correct the issue is to remove the water filter and then re-insert it several times. The water dispenser will then resume working for a little while. I have tried changing the filter multiple times, but the issue continues. I thought maybe the water line was getting frozen, but we recently had the ice maker repaired so the refrigerator was unplugged for a while. As soon as I plugged the refrigerator back in the problem continued. Not sure if I have a bad valve or control board. I know the water dispenser will shut off after running for so long to prevent over filling, but this happens fairly quickly when filling up just a glass. And once it happens it will not start back up until I remove the filter several times. Any advice on what the issue or faulty part might be would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kitchen and Family HubI can definitely understand how frustrating this may be. I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
