This is ridiculous. The fact that this has happened to me multiple times and there still isn't a fix to it and your best suggestion is to unplug the TV is absurd.

I was able to get it to finally get past the policy setup today. I had to buy a router that has openvpn on it. My issue was a regional issue. I bought the TV at the Navy Exchange; however, I'm in Japan on Japan internet. This isn't an easy process, especially if your not tech savy. I had to flash the router, add DD-WRT firmware so I could add the VPN settings (I use strongvpn...you can find info about routers or order preloaded routers from them). Their tech support was great and totally helped out.

I reset my TV and made sure nothing was connected to it in the HDMI ports. I have an ethernet cable plugged into the TV from the router. I had a connectivity issue wireless going through the VPN router. Once I did that, it came right up. Setting the router up and trying to get it to work really took me the most time (2 hours).

Here is the transcript of what I had to do

(01:43:26)Nathan K.: If you would like to setup a VPN router, please review your options here: https://strongvpn.com/vpn-routers/*We support DDWRT, Tomato, Sabai, GliNet and Asus firmwares on supported router models primarily, but any router with a working OpenVPN, WireGuard, PPTP vpn client can work* Option 1 - Sabai firmware - loaded routers are what we sell. Its the best overall firmware out there pretty much. Option 2 - You can buy a router with dd-wrt firmware on it that allows for a VPN account to be loaded onto it. Suggested router are noted at the above page if you click DIY tab, then click Linksys or Buffalo Option 3 - the most difficult is "flashing" the router with dd-wrt firmware, this is for advanced users. We provide no assistance for firmware install due to the risk of bricking the router. https://strongvpn.com/vpn-routers/https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/articles/360039690834-Routers https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/articles/360037446173-Supported-Routers https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/articles/360036958034-Router-setup Setup Guides for all router firmware types: https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/sections/360005735514-VPN-Routers Read info about WireGuard here: https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/articles/360037444953-WireGuard-FAQ WireGuard Capable Routers: (WireGuard is the next gen higher performing vpn protocol) 1) The Sabai VPN Accelerator $599.99 at https://strongvpn.com/vpn-routers/ is WG ready. 2) GliNet routers are WireGuard ready: https://support.strongtech.org/hc/en-us/articles/360036957894-WireGuard-GLiNet-Routers

Hi, I was continually having this issue so I read about holding the power button on the remote until the TV restarts and this fixed my issue on the first go!
