So I went to bed last night with 100% power on my watch and 7 hours later I woke up with 37% power I thought this watch was supposed to go 80 hours I'm pretty sure it's not going to I'm looking at the same thing as my Galaxy watch 4 low battery  this will be the last watch I buy until they go with solar. And yes I have all the features activated and why wouldn't I activate all the features that's why we have this watch with the features is to activate them it should have better power usage than what I used last night.

Health platform is burning 31.8% of my watch battery. I only used 4 and now 5 for monitoring health and time, no calls, no txt, no messages etc. Watch 4 44mm  lasted about 64 hours. You need to fix Heath platform.

Hello, I understand how frustrating this can be. Here is an article to help troubleshoot battery issues on your watch. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232

  1. You can use the following link below to request service. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/
  2. Contact customer service directly at 1-800-726-7864

For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

We also recommend duplicating the issue and immediately submitting an error report in the Members app. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-send-an-error-report/

Already did all that. Guess I could try force stop on Health Platform, if that's even possible. I just got this watch and traded a perfectly good Watch 4 with 64 hours of battery life. This 5 gets about 25 hours with same settings from restored backup. How long can I wait before asking for a replacement?

@Dlpsr I had the same issue and the solution was to force stop the Health Platform and reboot the watch.

After doing that the battery drain stopped for me.

I'll try it and thanks. I noticed the most drain comes overnight while sleep mode is on.

Did you leave Health Platform off or does it restart on its own? Mine still only shows 1 day 5 hours left. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

It restarts on its own. After my recharge yesterday my battery stats this morning show:

  • Samsung Health at 0.6%
  • One UI Watch Home at 0.3%
  • Health Services at 0.3%
  • Display at 0.1%.

Well, after force stopping Health platform, deleting useless preloaded apps that are able to be deleted, reset and restored, kept the apps lol, my battery is still learning my usage.

Now all battery use looks ok and have used 20+hours and still have 61% left. 🤞 Not much to learn though, I check the time, spo2 and HR on fulltime and put it in sleep mode at night. I'll wait a week or so and see how it plays out. I only do an ECG when my heart goes pitter pat. So low usage. 64 hours on the 4, the 5 should beat that or I want a new one.

Anyone else having poor battery life on the new gw5 40mm?  My wife has it connected to the new pixel 6a. Battery lasts about 9 hours with nothing special running.
