Home TheaterThis response/solution has been posted multiple times. When is Samsung actually going to issue a fix?

Home TheaterSo, I have two (or should I say had) two exact same models. They both started the boot loop issue within 24 hours of each other. Sounds like some pretty suspicious bullsh#t. Maybe Samsung did it on an update.

Home TheaterWas talking with a CS/Tech rep and they stated that they don't have control over this site (which is bonkers to me). They let me know to keep an eye on this here to see when a new Firmware update hits https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2015-home-theater-system-ht-j5500
considering this thread seems to be stale thanks to Samsung community it would probably be best to pivot to that for updates.

There is no solution here. Please do not give a false impression that a solution has been provided when it really has not. It is over a week now. The fact that Samsung has not acknowledged this publicly and given information about it is unacceptable. Please give us a real solution asap.

Home TheaterI own two Samsung Blu-Ray players. I rented a movie and it got stuck in a boot loop. Thought the unit was broken so I literally had to cut it apart with a saw to remove the disc so I could return it. Next day, had the same problem with my other player and the disc is still stuck inside. So, I destroyed one, and the other is useless. I really hope you can resolve this, and replace the first unit I had to cut apart to return the disc from.

Home TheaterWe're looking into it is not remotely a solution. What are you going to do about my bricked players and how can I at least get my disc out!
