Home TheaterShe will never resolve this matter. It created an unsolvable problem. The device cannot load the system and therefore will not be able to load anything update. As far as it looks like a USB stick, the devices will not be able to load the update. In my view, only changing the devices would solve the problem. We need to disclose this to the press, to the media ... We will use #SamsungBDCyclingError

Home TheaterI reported the issue to COSTCO, where I got my two Samsung DVD units and then also to Consumer Reports since I subscribe. Probable wont help but it made me feel better.
I've moved on to the LG 4K player UBP-90 for one of my units. It's not perfect plus pricey but.... it boots up and plays NETFLIX DVDs uplifted to 4K and NETFLIX 4K streaming on my 4K LG OLED. I'm holding off on buying a second DVD to see if Samsung gets its act together. They probable won't. I probable won't buy any Samsung products in the future either.
Cheers

Home TheaterThis is happening to my BD-J5700 Blu Ray. We watched a DVD on the 19th, then it would not boot up on the 20th of June. It has not worked since.

Home TheaterI am having the same issue with my JM57 Blu-ray players. I have two of them. The one(1) downstairs that's connected to a Samsung TV started cycling on Sunday but not until I tried to use it. I was able to use the one(player 2) upstairs connected to an Emerson TV. I mistakenly thought that switching them would work but it didn't. Once player 2 was connected to the Samsung, it too began to cycle back and forth between home screen and the samsung logo that's usually found in sleep mode. This means the problem isn't the players or TVs. They both play fine. It is specifically Samsung smart hub or another component of their network.
